Veterinary Assistant

Amanda brings a wealth of knowledge and a deep love for animals to her role as a veterinary assistant/technican at Saguaro Veterinary. Her greatest joy lies in the daily opportunity to work closely with animals, fulfilling her lifelong passion. Graduating magna cum laude from NAU with a BS in Biology, Amanda's academic excellence is evident, further highlighted by her memberships in the honors society and Phi Theta Kappa during her time at the university. 

Outside of her professional pursuits, Amanda finds joy in adventurous activities such as horseback riding and donkey races, showcasing her affinity for unique experiences. Her fascination with entomology, the study of insects, underscores her diverse interests and her penchant for learning. Amanda's home is a sanctuary for a delightful array of pets, including Judge, an American Staffordshire Terrier, Star Kitty, a Persian Cat, Moon, and exotic feline, Winter, a Domestic Shorthair, Lucy Fur, a Domestic Medium Hair, Major, a Freisian/Appaloosa, Echo, a BLM donkey, and a collection of beloved pet spiders. Amanda's decision to pursue a career in veterinary medicine stems from her unwavering love for animals, making her an invaluable member of the Saguaro Veterinary team.
