                                                            NO REGRETS

As you go through life you will find that we all have regrets. These are things we all wish we had not done or experienced. I'm no exception  There are many things I've done that I regret.  Things even to this day that I don't want to think about.  We continually flog and chatise ourselves for our stupidity and/or our indiscretions.  You go through life feeling less than anyone else, and wishing things could be different.

The irony is that these regrets seem to be the driving force in our life to improve ourselves.  If you feel stupid you strive to become smarter.  If you failed at something you strive to succeed. If you feel ugly you strive to be beautiful.  Whatever you regret you spend the rest of your life trying to correct it. I'm no different.  I've gone through my life feeling less than.  I have had plenty of regrets.  My regrets have squashed my very soul. I have contiually beat myself up.  This has caused me to continually strive forward.  I just did not like the feeling.  You kind of feel doomed.  It definitely adds stress in your life but it pushes you forward.

Your regrets are so profound that you just know that they are going to haunt you the rest of your life.  After a while you feel you deserve them.  It's like God's way of punishing you for your inabilities or your indiscretions.  They still push you on because you have to keep on living the best you can.

One day you wake up and find you are exhausted, you're sick, and you don't care whether you live or die.  You go to the doctor and he tells you have a serious problem that is life threatening.  Suddenly you realize that meeting your maker is closer than you thought,  You start praying and going to church because you really don't want to die and you are not ready to answer for you regrets.

You strive harder to become a better person.  You try to do everything just right.  You become possessed with getting well.  You read everything you can get your hands on, you work as much as you can stand, and you beg God's help.  You strive to become the perfect person, the one you always wanted to be.  And the amazing part is that you owe it all to your " REGRETS
